All the shows are professional and self contained with top of the range P.A and lighting equipment. Our friendly but highly experienced sound and light engineers are always at hand to be of assistance.

The shows have performed at major venues and festivals for the Army and Air force, corporate functions, Weddings, private parties, T.V and Radio promotions, at hotels, restaurants, wine bars, bistros and pubs etc, both nationally and internationally.

Single performances or tours can be tailored to suit every kind of event or venue.
For theatre and larger productions the shows can be enhanced by Piano, Brass and Strings.

Francoise - Jazz guitar
Ian M Lindsay

Ian was born into a musical family on April 11th 1967, in Sefton, Merseyside (or Lancashire as it was then). He performed in front of an audience for the first time at the age of seven, with his father, an accomplished singer and
Jazz pianist.
At the age of eleven, he became a child soprano with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Subsequent Philharmonic Hall concerts were broadcast live on BBC Radio3 including: Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana' and Benjamin Britten's 'Spring Symphony'.
Studied drama and music at Liverpool University.

Performed / wrote / produced songs around the Liverpool music circuit 1986-1996.
During this period, in 1993 his own band 'The Green Room' were voted top live original act by
The Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts (L.I.P.A) and represented England in the Keele
Rock festival in Germany.The band were runners up in the Northern Songwriters of the year awards in the same year.

Between June and September 1994 as an actor and musician, Ian co-starred in Bill Kenwright's hit stage show "Imagine - The John Lennon story", portraying Paul McCartney.

The following year he repeated the role In Fred Lawless's production of the musical comedy "Best" at the Liverpool Everyman Theatre and Trinity College, Dublin.

With acclaimed theatre shows under his belt and utilizing his experiences over the last 21 years,
he wrote, scored, directed and starred in his own touring stage musical: "The Moptops".

To date he has made appearances on T.V's "The Bill", "Brookside" and in the film "Elizabeth".
In between his session recording, writing and production work for other artists, several
performances were made on BBC, Sky, Cable CNN and in Japan.

As well as performing his own Modern Moods Show,
he also sings, plays Banjo and guitar for The Black Diamonds Skiffle Band
and sings and plays lead guitar with 'The Silver Searchers' tribute to the 'Swingin' Sixties'.


Over the last few years he's been busy:
  • writing a novel: " Back to where it all began"
  • re-drafting a highly praised collection of poetry and prose:" Fit, for human consumption"
  • completing a new album of original songs: " Absinth makes the heart grow fonder"

Tony Barter

Tony first began playing the guitar on the Spanish coast, in the
idyllic summer of 1968. He fell in love with a hand crafted Classical guitar and the rest was history. He studied Latino dance for some time and later married his ballroom dancing Teacher. (dont' Laugh!)
Tony in his fedora and wife with her castanets and rose Between her teeth.
His music and dancing career was put on hold for quite some time, when he was admitted to hospital with a collapsed lung. His condition was described as 'Touch and go'

.
The late 80's saw him take up live radio as a DJ with Dave Nelson on Radio 210FM. This
country music show partnership lasted four years. Co-formed 'STAGECOACH promotions' with
the late John Smith. He was the Stage/ production manager and helped to organise national
country music events: Palmer Park, Reading The Lakeside Club Blackwater and National holiday
camps, bringing top class acts across from The States.

Spent 3 years studying to be a boat skipper. 12 years at sea and has a boat, moored off
Chichester harbour. The duo frequently go out to sea fishing when not on Tour.

He is also qualified to fly a light aircraft (right hand seat), usually Piper 180's. Flies regularly into American airports. "On one occasion the single engine packed in on the way into Miami, we dropped 400ft but we managed to get 90 nautical miles back. I could see the Tiger sharks in the ocean. We got back on a wing and a prayer - song title there! " Tony has been both a horse rider and owner for many years.

He nearly died in a bike crash in reading 1997, broken hip. Takes part in the annual bike 'Toy Run' from Reading to Wokingham to generate money for underprivileged children and has raced everything from stock cars to Formula Two at Goodwood, Aldershot & Wimbledon.

He loves the Florida Keys - many friends, happy memories and tales to tell. Keen fisherman and bourbon connoisseur. While out with Larry, the sheriff from Monroe Co. hooked a big bull shark 700lb plus --.Jaws! Likes long haul drives, Alligator Alley, I .75 - See the REAL States.

Tony still misses his beautiful wife Glenda who was the love of his life and taught him about horses, Show Jumping, Cross Country and how to ride a horse properly - not like a cowboy!
