Ian M Lindsay - Lead Vocal, Banjo, Blues harp, Acoustic Guitar

(Singer/ Songwriter/ Actor/ Musician/ Writer/ Producer)
Northern Songwriter of the year finalist, co-starred in Bill Kenwright's Hit musical 'The John Lennon story' as Paul McCartney. Ian has performed on stage, TV, radio and film for over twenty years.

Jack Giles - Vocals, Lead guitar

Performed nationally for many years with The River Boat Pirates Skiffle & Jug band. A master of Jazz, Blues and Rock n' Roll guitar.

Nick Wright - Vocals, Tea chest Bass

A lead vocalist, bass player and lead guitarist in his own right. No stranger to the London and South East live music scene.

Paul McKenna - Washboard, Drums & percussion

Paul has performed professionally for over 30 years, including a stint with the Joe Loss Orchestra.

About Us

The Black Diamonds have a full blown theatre waiting in the wings, (penned by Ian M), having already written and performed touring shows throughout the UK and on national theatres including:

Liverpool's Royal Court and Playhouse, Theatre Royal Redditch, Trinity College Theatre Dublin to name a few.

The band exists to provide their audience with a high class night to remember!

The Black Diamonds have performed for the Army and Air force, corporate functions, private parties, T.V and Radio promotions, at hotels, restaurants, wine bars, bistros and pubs etc, both nationally and internationally.


The band is always looking for bookings in the UK and abroad. They love to entertain.

The show can be performed as a scaled down version for even the most intimate of occasions.

Their show is fully professional and can provide additional musicians, sound and lighting crew as and when required. It has no affiliation to agencies or promotions companies, but they are always welcomed.
